Toshiba Corporation today announced the new tablet is based on NVIDIA Tegra 2 platform in Japan. That’s pretty powerful Android tablet, the Toshiba Regza AT300. As shown in the specifications, the tablet would be a serious rival Motorola Xoom. Toshiba Regza AT300 tablet features a 1GHz dual-core NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor, 1GB RAMS, 16GB internal memory. It offers Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth and an SD memory card slot.The Toshiba Regza AT300 Android-tablet packs a 10.1-inch LED-backlit touchscreen with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels and an adaptive display for better contrast under sunlight, a 2-megapixel front-facing camera, and a 5 megapixel rear camera. New AT300 tablet is equipped with HDMI, USB and miniUSB. Toshiba Regza AT300 dimensions are 177 x 273 x 15.8 mm and weighs 765 g. The battery has up to 7 hours per charge. Toshiba Regza AT300 tablet with Android 3.0 (Honeycomb) OS and goes on June 2011 expected for the price of 60,000 yen (about $ 730).
